Daughter in Waiting Ministry

Hi,

My name is Anne. Six months ago in July 2023, I surrendered my life to God. To quote Psalm 42, He lifted me out of the pit of despair. And as if that wasn’t enough, He placed in me a new song. Although I grew up in-and-out of the church, this is my first time completely surrendering to God and it has been the greatest joy of my life. My relationship with God has exponentially grown over these months as I continue to draw near to Him and discover His character. 

Currently, I’m still in my wilderness season, my isolation season. I created this blog to publicly document this season of waiting on God. So often in the Christian community, we share our journeys after we’ve overcome our tough seasons, after our trials, after the lessons learned. We tend to hide when we’re facing trials yet boast when we’re in periods of triumphs. I want to do the opposite. I want to boast while I’m in the trials of my life. This blog will document what I’m learning about God’s character. It will also document what He’s doing in my life. His work to redeem, restore, strengthen, and establish me. As 1 Peter 5:10 says, I believe God will. My hope is that my own journey will help you draw near to Him.
