In July 2023, I surrendered my life to God. To quote Psalm 40:2, He lifted me out of the pit of despair and as if that wasn’t enough, He placed in me a new song. Although I was raised in the presbyterian church, I was in-and-out of the church community. I had been baptized, joined young adult groups and summer camps, and was active in Christian events. But, I did not trust God.

This is my first time completely surrendering to God and it has been the greatest joy of my life. My relationship with God continues to grow as I draw near to Him and discover His character. 

I created this website to publicly document this journey. So often in the Christian community, we share our testimonies after we’ve overcome tough seasons, after trials, and after the lessons we’ve learned. We tend to hide when we’re facing trials yet boast when we’re in periods of triumphs. I want to do the opposite. I want to boast about God’s glory while I’m in the trials of my life just as I want to boast about His glory while I’m in the joys.

The blog portion of this ministry documents what I’m learning about God’s character. It also documents what He’s doing in my life. His work to redeem, restore, strengthen, and establish me. As 1 Peter 5:10 says, I believe God will. My hope is that my own journey will help you draw near to Him.
